Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier joins Jordan Brand’s WNBA roster

Jordan Brand officially signed four-time WNBA All-Star Napheesa Collier, the company announced today. This announcement coincides with the tipoff of the 2025 WNBA season.

Collier, the reigning WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and runner-up in last season’s MVP race, continues to cement her place as one of the league’s brightest stars. Beyond the W, she’s also a co-founder of Unrivaled, the new 3×3 basketball league aiming to elevate women’s hoops.

“By joining the Jordan Brand family, I’m now part of a legacy that has consistently redefined what’s possible in basketball,” Collier said in a statement. “This partnership feels especially meaningful because it connects my performance on the court with impact that extends far beyond the game itself.

“When young girls see that iconic silhouette, I want it to inspire them to aim higher than they thought possible. It’s an honor to help carry forward a tradition that seamlessly blends athletic greatness with cultural significance.”

Collier previously signed an endorsement deal with Nike in 2020, which included both footwear and apparel. During her time with Nike, she wore several models and debuted multiple player-exclusive colorways of the KD15 in 2022.

Her Jordan signing comes as the brand refreshes its women’s basketball roster amid a surge in popularity for the WNBA. Current Jordan athletes include the likes of Rhyne Howard, Kia Nurse and Jordin Canada.

“Jordan Brand believes the current monumental transition in women’s basketball can change the world in a similar fashion that Michael Jordan did in 1984 and beyond,” the company said in a press release. “By investing in trailblazers like Collier, Jordan Brand reaffirms its commitment to shaping basketball’s future while pushing cultural boundaries worldwide.”

A first-round pick in 2019, Collier is coming off a career-best season with the Minnesota Lynx. She averaged 20.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game, leading the team to the WNBA Finals.
