Sofía Vergara has responded to her ex-husband's claims regarding why their marriage ended.
The Modern Family star was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello for seven years before the couple announced their split in July 2023.
At the time, Vergara told Spanish newspaper El Pais that the duo had split because Manganiello wanted kid's and she didn't, however he later told Men's Journal that that wasn't true.

Now, Vergara has spoken with Variety, opening up about her life's mantra "don't think too much" and how she's applied it to their divorce.
"At the end of the day, you never even know if that's what he said for real," she told the publication.
"I've read a lot of things that I've said that I'm like, 'Huh?' What am I gonna do, call him? I don't know if he even said that."

Back in January, Vergara told El Pais that she and Manganiello had divorced because he was much younger and wanted to build a family.
"He wanted to have kids and I didn't want to be an old mum," she revealed.
"I feel it's not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore."
Vergara, who is six years older than Manganiello, shares a 32-year-old son, Manolo Gomez, with her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez.

In a July interview with Men's Journal, Manganiello hit back at Vergara's claims they split because of a disagreement on the future of their family, saying, "that's simply not true."
"We did try to have a family for the first year and a half. And we had a huge conversation right out of the gate during the first month we dated," he said about their plans for children.
"And I swore to her that I would never leave if it didn't work out. And I didn't."
