Michelle Williams is playing the role of supportive wife tonight at the 2023 Tony Awards!
The Fosse/Verdon actress joined her husband, director Thomas Kail, on the red carpet on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights.
While Thomas was snubbed in the Best Direction of a Musical category for his work on Sweeney Todd, he did get a nomination for Best Revival of a Musical for his role as a producer on the show.
Sweeney Todd is up for eight awards tonight, including lead acting awards for stars Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford.
Earlier this year, Thomas joined Michelle on the red carpet at the Oscars, where she was nominated for Best Actress for her work in The Fabelmans.
The couple welcomed their second child together late last year.
