Jennifer Lopez had a familiar face supporting her for the premiere of her new movie – her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.
The 56-year-old singer stars in the upcoming musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and shared a moment with her ex – and the film's executive producer – on the October 6 red carpet.
It was a surprise appearance from Affleck, 53, but the former couple appeared happy to see each other as they posed for photos on the red carpet.

Lopez wore a sculptural gown from Harris Reed's spring 2026 collection.
The frock features an almost structural X addition to the front, which almost has the same feeling as having a giant spider on the front, a potential nod to the film.
The rest of the dress was a pale khaki colour, that was almost sheer, with a delicate floral pattern.
Meanwhile, Affleck kept things simple in a navy suit and crisp white shirt.

Ahead of the screening, J. Lo introduced the movie and thanked her ex-husband, who co-produced the movie with his and Matt Damon's Artist Equity production company.
"Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn't have been made without Ben," she said.
Earlier on the red carpet, Affleck explained why he got involved in the project.
"[Matt Damon and I] started this company and part of that was to finance movies. And I didn't want to just make movies that were obvious or that everyone else was going to make," he told Extra.
Affleck explained they just want to be able to "bet on great artists" and this was exactly the kind of thing they wanted to do.
"Bill Condon is incredible with this genre and Jennifer's in a role, the kind of role that she's born to play. She's amazing in the movie. I just can't wait for the audiences to see this movie. I'm as proud of this movie as any I've ever been involved with. I'm really, really excited to be here tonight," he added.

The show of support from Affleck comes after their divorce earlier this year.
The former couple first met in 2002 and started dating then, eventually becoming engaged.
In 2004 they called off their engagement and both pursued other relationships and started families.
Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner in 2005, and went on to welcome three children together, Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose, and Samuel. The couple split in 2018.
Meanwhile, Lopez had a whirlwind romance with Latin music superstar Marc Anthony, who she married in 2004.
The couple welcomed Max and Emme, in 2008, before splitting in 2011.
In 2021 Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance, and went on to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas in July 2022.
They celebrated their nuptials with a second ceremony in Georgia the following month, with family and friends by their sides.
In 2024 they split, citing irreconcilable differences.
The former couple's divorce was finalised in January 2025.
