The Hollywood heavyweight, 51, revealed in an interview with Deadline that he had been speaking with "a friend" – but refused to elaborate on the matter further.

"At the end of the day, who knows if this other person that I was talking to wants me to even mention their name?" he joked.

"So, as the lead character says in A Bronx Tale, I'm not a rat."

DiCaprio's One Battle After Another co-star Teyana Taylor previously speculated via Access Hollywood that she'd been the mysterious second party, and that they'd both been engaged in a spirited discussion about hit Netflix fixture K-Pop Demon Hunters.
