Graham Norton announces first-ever Australian tour

Graham Norton has announced his first ever Australian tour. The TV host and comedian will hit our shores in 2025 for a series of live shows.

"Australia & New Zealand! I'm finally coming to visit in 2025 with my brand-new show, An Evening with Graham Norton," he announced on social media.

"I'll be sharing some of my favourite stories, a few laughs, and answering your questions live on stage."

Tickets go on sale on October 11, however fans can sign up for pre-sale.

The tour runs from March until April, kicking off in Adelaide on March 9 followed by Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney before heading to New Zealand for dates in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.

The show is being described as "an evening of entertainment to celebrate, reflect and relive some of his biggest TV highlights and memorable moments to date."

"He will share his favourite laugh out-loud moments and tales from behind the scenes of his legendary sofa chats with the world's biggest TV and film stars," promoter Ted Dainty continues.

"Filled with candid reflections using his sharp wit comedy, we all know and love, this retrospective will offer a rare glimpse into where it all began.

"Honest, hilarious and featuring an exclusive audience Q&A, this is an evening you won't want to miss and a rare opportunity to see one of the world's most beloved stars live!"

The Irish TV and radio host, comedian and author is the host of BBC's The Graham Norton Show, on which the world's biggest names are regularly interviewed in Norton's unique style.

He's won five BAFTA TV Awards for the show.

Since 2009, Norton has also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest.

Norton, 61, typically gathers multiple celebrities on each episode of The Graham Norton Show, with the combinations he chooses proving to be a winning formula and resulting in incredible conversations.

His latest book Frankie is out now.

After an early career in stand up comedy, Graham's big TV break came from playing ultra-enthusiastic Father Noel Furlong in Father Ted.

Next, he was given his own comedy show called So Graham Norton, which began in 1998.

Graham is one of the best-loved presenters on British television with his chat show making him a household name.

He has interviewed Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves, Hillary Clinton... in fact, it would be easier to name celebrities he hasn't interviewed.

He has presented The Bigger Picture for BBC One, along with hit shows Strictly Dance Fever and the award-winning How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?

Norton is a main judge on RuPaul's Drag Race UK and is host of Queen of the Universe.
