Lana Del Rey speaks out after secret wedding, slams 'local couple' for 'flying drones into our window'

Lana Del Rey has broken her silence days after her secret wedding.

Just last week the Summertime Sadness singer made headlines for reportedly tying the knot with her alligator tour guide boyfriend, Jeremy Dufrene.

In a slew of new comments, the singer finally confirmed she and Dufrene got married.

However, in the same post, Rey called out a "local couple" for invading their privacy.

The singer voiced her frustration in a fan account's comments section beneath a video taken of her and Dufrene out in New Orleans together over the weekend.

"Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won't stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker," she said. Rey goes by the Instagram account name 'honeymoon'.

Rey requested the couple to "stop switching vehicles following the family- and stop following us around remote parts of the country..."

She also asked them to stop photoshopping her wedding ring into a pearl.

"I know we would feel a lot safer," she wrote.

After asking for more privacy, Rey then took a moment to praise her new husband.

"All that being said Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we're very happy," she sweetly said.

Rey is known for her slew of musical hits including Say Yes to Heaven, Young and Beautiful, Born to Die and many more.

The American singer was reported to have married boyfriend Dufrene in a private ceremony in Louisiana on Thursday, September 26.

The couple only sparked romance rumours earlier this year. 

Rey was first linked to Dufrene in 2019 when she posted a photo with him to social media from her day out on his Arthur's Air Boat Tours.

In August she appeared to shut down rumours they were dating, writing a simple "No" under a post of someone claiming to be Dufrene's daughter.

However just weeks later Rey brought Dufrene as her plus one to Karen Elson and Lee Foster's wedding in New York City in September.
