Originally released in 1991 as the lead single from the soundtrack to the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” won the GRAMMY Award for Best Song Written Specifically For A Motion Picture Or Television at the 1992 GRAMMYs. The song was also nominated for Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year, and Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male, and received a nomination for Best Original Song at the 1992 Academy Awards. It later appeared on Bryan Adams’ sixth studio album, Waking Up the Neighbours, released Sept. 24, 1991.
Known for her authentic storytelling, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jamie MacDonald is a rising voice in Contemporary Christian music. Her self-titled debut album, released in January, features the chart-topping singles “Desperate” and “Left It In The River.” The project chronicles her personal journey from homelessness and addiction to spiritual reawakening, according to Billboard.
