When the Sailor Jerry Rolling Stone Australia Awards roll into Sydney this March, the brightest talent in the land will walk the red carpet. Some will wander off with silverware.
And behind the talent, is the team that makes the magic happen.
As previously announced, some the country’s hottest emerging talent and biggest stars will step into the spotlight during the March 30 ceremony in Sydney. Think Amy Shark and Baker Boy, The Kid LAROI, Keith Urban, Genesis Owasu, Ruby Fields and many more.
At a glance, major music companies predictably dominate the labels leaderboard, while Wonderlick, Inertia and Mushroom Group are among the independents raking-in the nominations.
Following a massive haul at the ARIA Awards, Sony Music-owned AWAL is in the thick of it once more with two nominations for Genesis Owusu (Best Record and Best New Artist) and one for CXLOE (Reader’s Choice Award).
Wonderlick, meanwhile, represents two-time nominee Amy Shark (Best Record, Best Single) and Holy Holy (Reader’s Choice Award).
Mushroom Group-affiliated label I Oh You will be tuned-in for its nominated artist Jack River (Best Single), and sister label Bloodlines has two chances in the Reader’s Choice category with Jimmy Barnes and Vika & Linda.
This year, the awards return to The Argyle in Sydney on March 30th, with hosts and stacks of exclusive live performances to be announced in the weeks ahead.
For the first time, a free live event series will spread the word in the lead-in to the awards ceremony, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
