Jewel Expands Her Mental Health Mission with the #NotAloneChallenge and Inaugural Not Alone Awards

Pop icon and longtime mental health advocate Jewel is taking her message of connection and resilience to new heights. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter has announced the return of her #NotAloneChallenge, now in its fourth year, alongside the first-ever Not Alone Awards—a star-studded event honoring those who are changing the global conversation around mental well-being.

Set for November 11 at Wynn Las Vegas, the Not Alone Awards will be hosted by marketing powerhouse Bozoma Saint John and Emmy-winning comedian Loni Love, and will recognize individuals and organizations whose work has made a tangible impact in the world of mental health. As Jewel put it, “The Not Alone Awards are about shining a light on the brave people and organizations who are changing the way we talk about mental health... These honorees have brought compassion, creativity, and most importantly real solutions to the forefront.”

The evening will blend inspiration and entertainment, with performances by Jewel, Flavor Flav, Rachel Platten, Alec Benjamin, JP Saxe, Cassadee Pope, Bishop Briggs, Harry Hudson, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and more. The guest list is equally eclectic, featuring appearances by Whitney Cummings, Mike Tyson, Jeremy Piven, Jonah Marais, and Tallulah Willis—a lineup that perfectly reflects the event’s mission to unite art, advocacy, and authenticity.

The awards coincide with the #NotAloneChallenge, a social movement designed to remind people they’re not alone and to offer free mental health tools and resources through Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation (ICF). Presented by iHeartRadio and Villa Bibbiani, the challenge continues to bridge the worlds of entertainment, philanthropy, and personal healing. All funds raised will go toward expanding ICF’s programs, which have supported at-risk youth for over 25 years, and thanks to Villa Bibbiani’s partnership, donations will be matched up to $2 million.

The challenge has already drawn high-profile supporters, from Billie Eilish and Paris Hilton to Deepak Chopra and Kris Jenner, while earning recognition from outlets like The New York Times, Billboard, and People Magazine. Each year, it brings together leaders in tech, sports, healthcare, and the arts to open up honest conversations about mental health—something Jewel has championed for decades, long before it became a mainstream cause.

Building on that success, Jewel is introducing another major initiative: the Not Alone Summit, co-hosted by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, taking place November 10–12 in Las Vegas. The invite-only event will bring together innovators, scientists, and artists for three days of keynotes, TED-style talks, and hands-on wellness workshops exploring mindfulness, neuroscience, and emotional regulation. The summit will wrap up with a Las Vegas Community Day on November 12, offering free local programming focused on wellness and connection—a gesture that hits close to home, as Las Vegas is the base of Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation.

By combining advocacy, education, and creative expression, Jewel’s expanding mission does more than raise awareness, it builds infrastructure for real healing. Her approach reflects a belief that community and creativity are as essential to mental health as therapy or medication. In a world that’s still learning how to talk about these issues without stigma, her work feels not just relevant, but necessary.
