With the BRIT Awards set to take place later this week, find out everything you need to know about how to tune in to the 2026 ceremony below.

This year’s instalment is set to take place on Saturday (February 28) and the event will be held at the Co-op Live in Manchester – the first time that the awards have been held outside of London in its 50-year history.

Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Alex Warren, Sombr, and Rosalía have already been announced as playing at the ceremony, and the 2026 edition will see Jack Whitehall return to host for a record-breaking sixth time.

As usual, the show will be broadcast on ITV1 in the UK and also available on ITVX, with the television broadcast set to launch at 8:15pm.

There is also a new way for fans to tune in too, as UK viewers will be able to watch the show on ITV’s YouTube channel in full for the first time ever.

For the past 13 years, the YouTube stream has been exclusively available to viewers tuning in from outside the UK via the BRITs YouTube channel, however for 2026, UK viewers can watch on YouTube as well.

It is a move spearheaded by Sony Music on behalf of the UK music industry, and those watching on YouTube will be able to tune in from 8:45 via the ITV YouTube channel.

“Our longstanding partnership with The BRITs enters an exciting new chapter this year as the show heads to Manchester,” said Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment at ITV.

“We are committed to giving audiences more of what they love, which is why – for the first time ever – UK fans can join the celebration across ITV1, ITVX and ITV’s YouTube, giving viewers total flexibility in how they choose to experience the spectacle of the biggest night in music.”

“From show-stopping performances to the instant viral highlights, plus with exclusive archives and real-time highlights available to enjoy on ITVX, ITV remains the definitive home for the BRITs, bringing the magic of the night into the nation’s living rooms and onto their devices,” Rawcliffe added.

This year’s trophy has already been unveiled, designed by Matthew Williamson and inspired by Manchester, and Jacob Alon has been confirmed as the winner of the 2026 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award.

Those leading the way in terms of nominations this year include Olivia Dean, former NME Cover star Lola Young, Sam Fender, Lily Allen and rapper Jim Legxacy.

Others being honoured at this year’s BRITs include Mark Ronson, who has been awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Music, and Noel Gallagher, who has been given the ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ award.
