“You Have To Accommodate Top Talent”: Kathleen Kennedy Gives an Encouraging Script Update for James Mangold’s Star Wars Prequel

James Mangold has an Oscar-nominated film with A Complete Unknown, but his next step is into the world of Star Wars. In a new interview from Kathleen Kennedy, she talked about a lot of projects in the works with Lucasfilm as well as the news that she was not retiring from the company. One of the projects she talked about was Mangold's prequel Star Wars film. His movie is set to take place 25,000 years before any other Star Wars story we've seen, and the working title was Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi. Kennedy gave an update of where it is post Mangold's success with A Complete Unknown.
