Taylor Sheridan is angling for one of the biggest years of his career in 2026. While he prepares for his return to the big screen with F.A.S.T., which is arriving in theaters everywhere almost exactly one year from today, he’s also working on a new Call of Duty movie set to be directed by Peter Berg. The film is set for release in 2028, and Sheridan is balancing both projects with a new Texas war epic that he’s writing, directing, and producing, commissioned directly by the Lieutenant Governor of Texas, Dan Patrick. In the meantime, Sheridan has already introduced two new shows to the world with The Madison and Marshals. The former is a Yellowstone-like modern Western starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, and the latter is a direct Yellowstone spin-off headlined by Luke Grimes.
