Brit Marling Takes Over the Role of a Star Trek Legend in ‘Starfleet Academy’ [Exclusive]

Paramount+’s Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is continuing to fill out its bridge crew with two major new additions. As part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we can exclusively reveal the role that Brit Marling will be stepping into for the upcoming series, which is set to premiere on the streaming platform after the new year. Marling will lend her voice to the ship’s computer, serving under Captain Ake, played by Holly Hunter. The role places Marling in a lineage that stretches back to Star Trek legend Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, who originated the franchise’s signature computer voice.
