What a spectacular night at the Academy Museum, where all of the most famous and fashionable turned out for an evening of fundraising. Any time contenders can have face time with Academy members it helps them get a boost when it comes to voting. This is true at the Governors Awards and is now also true at the Academy Museum gala held last night in Los Angeles.

Kim Kardashian looks like a serial killer victim but she is in the business of getting attention and I guess that worked. Otherwise, this video doesn’t showcase all of the stars in attendance. You can see more over at Getty Images, though I can’t post those here. There are more stars than I could capture with screenshots who attended, like George Clooney, Laura Dern, Chase Infiniti. You can see those over at Getty.
TikTok star Addison Rae (who is in that god-awful Ed Gein show on Netflix) and YouTube star Emma Chamberlain were there, showing that the alternative path to fame is penetrating. Rae looks the happinest to be there of everyone, smiling and having a great time. Best dressed, IMO, were Rachel Zegler and Chase Infiniti (not shown here but at Getty).
According to the photos at Getty, Bruce Springsteen did perform an acoustic set for the crowd there, which is good because the film isn’t exactly getting super buzzed. But he’s out there campaigning pretty hard for it so I do think it will get some recognition.
