After Sweeping the Emmys, Netflix’s Breakaway Crime Drama Is Back In the Top 10

It seems that once a year, Netflix strikes gold with one of their original projects. Whether it’s a gripping docuseries like Tiger King (which absolutely pulled us through the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown) or a breakout hit like Richard Gadd’s Baby Reindeer, the streamer gets viewers really talking at least once during the year. So far, 2025’s big hit has been the miniseries Adolescence. Co-created by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, the gripping crime drama took audiences by storm when it arrived back in March, and folks aren’t done talking about it just yet. Thanks to its major sweep at last weekend’s Emmy Awards, the title has found its way back into homes around the globe.
