Jennifer Lawrence may have inadvertently crossed the line this time.
The characteristically candid actress, 35, sat down with Leonardo DiCaprio for the latest iteration of Variety and CNN's Actors on Actors series; and one comment she made is raising some eyebrows.
In a now-viral clip from the segment, Lawrence praised DiCaprio's performance in his recent film One Battle After Another – but then seemingly alluded to his polarizing dating history.

DiCaprio portrays a washed-up revolutionary in the acclaimed film, who lives off-grid with his spirited, self-reliant daughter Willa.
"I'd really love seeing you be a dad," Lawrence said of the performance with a grin, before adding, "I'm so sad that you don't have a teenage daughter – you look great with one."
The moment – which left DiCaprio chuckling awkwardly – quickly lit up social media, with viewers convinced that Lawrence's comment was a dig at the 51-year-old's well-documented habit of dating much younger women.
Many fans interpreted it as a cheeky nod to a long-running internet joke claiming that the Oscar-winning actor has capped his age limit for prospective partners at 25.

Social media users wasted no time in roasting the exchange, with some suggesting that DiCaprio's expression betrayed a flash of "terror" at the remark.
The Titanic star's last significant long-term relationship was with Daisy Jones and the Six star Camila Marrone, whom he dated for five years before ending things just shy of her 25th birthday in 2022.
Since then, he's been linked to a number of other young models, including Lottie Moss and Gigi Hadid.
But he's most recently generated dating rumours with Italian Model Vittoria Ceretti, 27, with the pair first sighted together in 2023.
Of course, not all fans agreed the awkward moment between DiCaprio and JLaw was intended as a roast.
Some have insisted the latter was being genuinely complimentary about the actor's onscreen chemistry with his younger co-star.
The pair previously worked together on Netflix's hit offering Don't Look Up, in which they played two astronomers imploring the public to heed their warning of an impending world-ending event.
And they have both stirred Oscars buzz of late, with Lawrence praised for her recent role in upcoming psychological drama Die, My Love.
