Yellow Wiggle Evie Ferris is engaged to fellow Wiggles performer Zane Powell.

Powell, a dancer who has worked for the children's musical group as a backup dancer, got down on one knee to propose to Ferris on the rocks at Sydney's Balmoral Beach.

The proposal took place on Wednesday December 17, but the couple waited until Christmas Day to share their happy news.

In a joint post on Instagram, the couple shared a carousel of photos from their idyllic engagement.

In the first photo, the pair hold each other close as Ferris shows off her new diamond.

Another photo shows the moment Powell popped the question, with Ferris holding clasping her face in surprise.

Yet another shows the happy couple sharing a kiss and lapping up their freshly engaged bliss.

"Best Christmas yet!!" the couple captioned the post.

Their comment section was immediately inundated with messages of love and congratulations from friends and fans.

"Soooo beautiful. Congratulations you are both such beautiful people," wrote Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie.

Ferris' fellow Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins also shared her congratulations, writing: "So happy for you both. Love you guys so much".

Ferris, a ballet dancer, has been working with The Wiggles since 2021.

She later joined as an additional member of main group as part of the expanded Fruit Salad TV lineup. She initially wore the blue skivvy but later switched to yellow.

Meanwhile, Powell has worked for the musical group as a background dancer and character on a number of live tours and video specials.

It's the latest of a number of romances to come out of The Wiggles family.

Former Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins became engaged to her Wiggles bandmate Oliver Brian back in 2021.

Watkins shared the news to social media with a selfie of the couple, writing: "When life gets more sparkly".

They married a year later in May 2022.

Brian worked in the band for The Wiggles. Meanwhile, Watkins was the first female Wiggle, joining the group in 2013 before leaving in 2021.

Before her romance with Brian, Watkins was married to Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie.

The pair became engaged in 2015 before getting married a year later at a ceremony in Bowral, NSW.

After only two years of marriage, the pair released a joint statement in 2018 to announce their separation.

"We have, and continue to share, the most beautiful life together, but we wanted to let you know that privately for the last six months we have been navigating through a trial separation, and we have made the decision to separate as a couple," they wrote.

"Throughout that period, we have performed hundreds of shows together and that is always a continued source of joy for us both. We have embraced this as a very positive change in our relationship."

While Watkins went on to find love with Brian, Gillespie also found new love with Wiggles co-star and Australian ballet dancer Dana Stephensen.

They welcomed twin daughters in 2020 and went on to get married in 2022.

Gillespie is also stepfather to Stephensen's son Jasper, from a previous relationship.
