For years, the Beckhams have been the ultimate example of a well-adjusted famous family – two loving parents, three talented sons and a young daughter that's the apple of everyone's eye.
But that image has erupted in recent weeks with rumours of a feud between eldest son Brooklyn, 26, and the rest of his family, most recently after his brother Cruz claimed Brooklyn had blocked himself, David and Victoria on Instagram.
But this alleged feud did not come out of nowhere.
In fact, there have been rumblings of a disagreement for years now, stemming back to Brooklyn's marriage to Nicola Peltz in April 2022.

Wedding drama
The catalyst for the original 'feud' between Victoria and Nicola stemmed from the daughter-in-law's reported last-minute decision to snub the wedding dress her mother in law designed specifically for her, from her own designer label, and instead wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown down the aisle, along with two others by Dior and Versace.
The decision reportedly caused a lot of tension between the new family members.
Additional reports claimed Victoria, now 51, was shunned from being involved in the wedding planning (which ended Nicola's father suing the wedding planners they had chosen), and that the Beckhams were not invited to sit at the top table with the Peltz family and their son at the wedding.
Honeymoon 'snub'
Two months after the nuptials, the newlyweds headed off on their honeymoon in the south of France, joined by the extended Peltz family.
But what raised fans' eyebrows was that the Beckhams were reportedly not invited to join, despite the famous family holidaying a stone's throw away in Croatia.
'The New Mrs Beckham'
In the same month, Nicola, now 30, gave an interview in which she seemed to make a subtle dig at her husband's parents.
Appearing as Tatler's cover star in June 2022, the "New Mrs Beckham" (as she was deemed by the outlet) said that her husband had faced "a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn't love it".
Many believed this to be a dig at Brooklyn's famous parents, who each expanded their soccer and pop star pasts into multiple lucrative business ventures.
Four months after the wedding in August 2022, the rumours seemed to stick around, which was when Nicola decided to officially clear the air.
Clearing the air
The 30-year-old told Variety, "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
"She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that," the actress said of the rumours.
Brooklyn added, "I've learned [the media are] always going to try to write stuff like that. They're always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."

Denial, denial, denial
Brooklyn's claims seemed to be confirmed when he and Nicola made their first major appearance alongside his family at his mum's label's Paris Fashion Week runway debut.
Nicola and Victoria seemed chummy, taking photos together alongside the family. Fans did note however that while Nicola posted photos and videos from other runways and designers during the week, she did not do so for her own mother-in-law.
The next month, Nicola again officially addressed the rumoured feud, telling The Times in October 2022, "It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud!?' I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it feud?"

"I think it all started, and I've said this before, because I didn't end up wearing Victoria's wedding dress, but the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mum got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn't end up wearing it," she said.
"Truthfully, I was really excited to wear her dress. It makes me sad when I read things that people say I was never planning on wearing it. That's just not true."
Burying the hatchet
The in-laws seemed to well and truly bury the hatchet when Victoria shared a birthday message for her daughter-in-law on Instagram in January 2023. Alongside a photo of them casually sitting at a kitchen table, the former Spice Girl wrote, "Happy Birthday @NicolaAnnePeltzBeckham 💗 Hope you have a lovely day!!! X".
They were commended by fans for putting aside their reported differences, made even more apparent when the Beckhams dropped by the premiere of Nicola's directorial debut for Lola.

The pictures showed off a smiling family, with Victoria and Nicola wrapping their arms around each other in an embrace, and the latter wearing the former's design.
All seemed calm on the Beckham front for months, even though the newlyweds had missed Victoria's 50th birthday and a Christmas together.
The Beckham brothers
But in December 2024, rumblings began again when the second Beckham brother Romeo introduced his new beau to the world.
Romeo went public with DJ Kim Turnbull in the New Year, with Turnbull since appearing in pictures with the Beckham family,
Things came to a head recently as fans continued to point out that Turnbull was heavily rumoured to be Brooklyn's ex-girlfriend.

In April 2025, Romeo shut down the rumours in an Instagram exchange with a fan.
The fan wrote in a comment, "It's appropriate to date your brother's ex too? Cool," to which the 22 year-old replied, "Brooklyn and Kim never dated," before swiftly deleting the comment.
Brooklyn and Turnball seemingly did spend time together in their teen years until 2017, through they never confirmed that they were romantically involved.
The 'Feud' Part II
It was after this that cracks started to show, first when Brooklyn and his wife were unable to make his father's April pre-birthday celebrations in Florida in the US, where the couple reside.
Then they could not make Victoria's 51st birthday celebrations on a yacht the same month.

The couple further did not attend any of the three star-studded birthday celebrations David held in honour of his huge milestone, with many fans viewing this as evidence of a revived feud.
Double-edged sword
Amid the lavish celebrations, David seemed to take some time to spend with his family, especially his sons.
He was joined by his sons Romeo and Cruz, 20, for a fishing trip in the Scottish Highlands, sharing snaps from the adventure and laughing at his sons' inability to handle the rough living conditions.
The 50-year-old revealed alongside one of the snaps, "Six months ago I planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th. Was so much fun."

In another featuring the three he wrote, "Fun times in Scotland," adding, "You were missed Brooklyn," tagging his son in the post.
With the reveal that the celebrations were planned months in advance, Brooklyn and Nicola's absence feels all the more pointed.
Brooklyn breaks his silence
After many more weeks of speculation, the eldest son has spoken – albeit in a veiled message.
The 26-year-old made his allegiance clear in an Instagram post on May 25, sharing a video of himself and his wife riding a motorbike through the streets.
He captioned it, "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby," making a pointed comment about where they stand as a couple.

Cruz enters the chat
Brooklyn isn't the only Beckham child to make his allegiance clear – his younger brother Cruz added fuel to the fire with his own Instagram post.
The 20-year-old took to his Instagram Stories to post a family photo, with all of them looking snazzy for an event.
Underneath it, he wrote, "I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum & dad you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x."
Notably, his older brother Brooklyn is included in the photo but his wife Nicola is not.
The timing of the image being posted – just one day after his brother's "I choose you" declaration to his wife – is raising eyebrows among fans.
The family is currently in the middle of a storm of speculation, with fans waiting with bated breath for their next move.
A royal link
At the start of June, multiple media outlets reported Romeo and Kim had split after seven months of dating.
On Saturday, June 7, Romeo, 22, was spotted in Paris with German model Caroline Daur, 30, leaving a party at the Hotel Costes and going to a nightclub with friends.
He even shared some photographs of himself shirtless in Paris to his 3.9 million followers on Instagram, captioning them with a French Flag emoji.
Brooklyn and wife Nicola also reportedly hired British lawyer Jenny Afia of Schillings, according to outlets including The Daily Mail, who was in the past was used by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – after the couples met at a party in the US.
''For the Beckhams the irony isn't lost. They fell out with Meghan and Harry after they accused them of leaking stories – they were furious and Brooklyn knows that," a source told the Mail On Sunday.
A source told E! News about the move: "It's not for reputation management, but to set the record straight, combat spread of misinformation."
"There is absolutely no connection to Meghan and Harry."
https://www.instagram.com/p/DKsJ4Z8SeVK/?igsh=MWYyMzVqNXgzN2ZlMeanwhile, more recently, Nicola and Brooklyn celebrated her brother Will Peltz's 39th birthday celebrations, with the actor sharing pictures with his sister and brother-in-law from the event, believed to be held in Los Angeles.
"Thank u to everyone who came out and thank u for the love ❤️🤟," he wrote.
An olive branch?
It seems dad David is tired of the fighting, just wanting his little boy by his side as he celebrates a very special achievement.
On June 14, the former football player officially became Sir David Beckham following his knighthood awarded by King Charles III.
To mark the occasion, his wife – now Lady Victoria Beckham – posted a tribute in his honour.
Sharing a photo of her hugging him from behind, she wrote, "You've always been my knight in shining armour, but now it's official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! What an honour, I couldn't be prouder of you.
"Your dedication to the things that matter most – your country, your work, your passion, and most of all, your family – has never wavered. The way you've touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us everyday.
"But above all else, I'm so, so proud to call you mine. I love you so much xxxx"
In response, the new knight decided to share the love, writing "I love you all ❤️," before tagging Victoria, then Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz. He used a hashtag for their 13-year-old daughter, Harper, who does not have an Instagram account.
The inclusion is notable since over the past few months of their rumoured rift, much of the "feud" was played out over exclusions to events and on social media.
However, the former athlete's comment now seems to have been deleted.
Cruz appears to take a swipe at Brooklyn
On June 24, Cruz appeared to reignite has the drama with a fiery dig at his eldest brother, Brooklyn.
In terms of a career, Brooklyn has been known to try out a few different hats – and his younger brother isn't letting him forget it.
The eldest Beckham child has become somewhat a joke amongst netizens for his tendencies to switch careers at a whim, we've seen him move from soccer, to becoming a chef, to being a model, to trying out photography.
For his part, Cruz seems to be solely focused on his blossoming music career at the moment, recently sharing a video to TikTok of a performance of his upcoming single For Ya Love.
Underneath the video, a sassy fan left a comment seemingly likening Cruz to his older brother.
"Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?" The commenter asked.
But rather than ignoring the swipe at his family, Cruz decided to swiftly shut down any comparisons between him and Brooklyn, replying to the comment with three simple words.
"Wrong brother mate".
Brooklyn's tribute to a Beckham – but it isn't his father
On June 27, Brooklyn took to Instagram to pay tribute to his beloved 'nanny' amid a rumoured rift with his family.
Brooklyn took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo with his grandmother Sandra Beckham, who is David Beckham's mother.
"Happy birthday nanny... love you so much," he captioned the photo.
It marks the first time Brooklyn has acknowledged his family on social media since seemingly snubbing his father's 50th birthday on May 2.
Brooklyn's younger brothers Cruz and Romeo also marked Sandra's birthday on social media.
"Happy birthday love you lots," Romeo, 22, wrote, alongside a photo with his grandmother.
Cruz, 20, shared a photo showing him hugging Sandra, writing: "Happy birthday @sandra_beckham49 I love you lots."
Earlier in the week, Brooklyn further fuelled rumours of a rift with his family when he wished his father-in-law Nelson a happy birthday, having failed to publicly acknowledged his own father's milestone.
He shared a photo with wife Nicola Peltz alongside her father Nelson, 83, writing: "Happy Birthday Nelson x we love you ❤️."
David and Victoria Beckham also failed to acknowledge Brooklyn's gushing wedding anniversary post on April 9.
While no members of Brooklyn's family liked his anniversary post, singer Elton John, a long-time friend of the Beckham family, offered his well-wishes.
The one Beckham left out of the feud
It seems there is one family member that has been shown mercy amid this ongoing feud – the youngest, Harper Seven Beckham.
Her oldest brother Brooklyn made sure to wish her a Happy Birthday on July 10, despite being across the world and not talking to any other family members.
He made his allegiances clear with the photo he chose to use, a snap of himself and wife Nicola with Harper sandwiched in the middle, taken at mum Victoria's Paris Fashion Week show in 2024.
"Happy birthday Harper we love u x," he wrote, tagging in his wife.
Brothers Romeo and Cruz also posted birthday tributes to their sister.
"Happy 14th birthday to the most amazing human there is, love you always and forever," Romeo wrote.
"Harper, I love you so much happy birthday xx," Cruz said.
Subtle move that confirmed the Beckham brothers' feud
The last few months of this feud have relied mostly on speculation, but in July we were given the first solid clue that there was trouble, at least between the brothers.
While many suspected that the source of the Beckham feud lies with Nicola and Victoria Beckham, it now appears that it might be brothers Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz who have things to talk about.
A quick stalk on Instagram reveals that both Brooklyn and Nicola have unfollowed both Romeo and Cruz, with the younger brothers also unfollowing their older sibling and his wife.
Brooklyn does still follow Romeo's film photography account.
Only adding to the bizarre rumours was the fact that all four parties still followed both David and Victoria at the time.
According to Page Six, a source claimed that Brooklyn and Nicola did not unfollow Cruz and Romeo, adding that "it's possible they've been blocked", however that has not been confirmed by representatives for either party.
Another source suggested that Brooklyn had previously told his relatives that he wants "no contact" with them, however the claims have once again not been confirmed.
The biggest snub yet
Brooklyn and Nicola shared an intimate insight into their private vow renewal ceremony in August 2025 with a series of Instagram posts.
The elegant ceremony appeared to take place at Nicola's father's sprawling estate and while her family were front and centre for the event, Brooklyn's family were nowhere to be seen.
https://www.instagram.com/p/DNOKqOIx1zY/?hl=en&img_index=1Nicola's dad Nelzon Peltz appeared to have a key role officiating the ceremony while her mum Claudia Heffner Peltz spent the morning helping her daughter get ready.
Nicola and Brooklyn renewed their vows at an altar adorned with white roses, with Nelson appearing to officiate the ceremony.
The couple smiled as they read their vows to one another.
Some photos from the day saw Nicola lapping up time at the ceremony with her mum and dad while another saw her pose with her brother Bradley Peltz.
Brooklyn also stepped out of the way as Nicola posed for a group family photo.
"This day meant so much to us," Nicola captioned a selection of family photos.
Brooklyn breaks his silence
The catalyst finally addressed the family feud that took over headlines for months days later..
In August, the aspiring chef spoke to the Daily Mail as he participated in the Ryder Cup All-Star, a celebrity golf match.
In response to the rumours, he praised his wife Nicole Peltz for being by his side through such difficult times.
"Everyone is always going to say rubbish," he told the Daily Mail. "I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It's good fun."
He also spoke about how he copes with the negative headlines surrounding his relationship with his family.
"There's always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife," Brooklyn added.
"Me and her, we just do our thing. We just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy."
Victoria discusses another brotherly feud
Two months after her son spoke out, mum Victoria decided to speak up as well.
The designer had been preparing for her spring/summer 2026 collection show during Paris Fashion Week on Friday October 3, though she managed to squeeze in an interview in the days following her Paris Fashion Week show and Brooklyn's absence.
Speaking to The Sunday Times ahead of the release of her upcoming Netflix documentary, Victoria recalled watching brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite for their new Oasis show.
"I just think that their mum must be so happy. It must have been really tough on the mum, the boys not talking for all those years," she said.
https://www.instagram.com/p/DPXXznsiFox/"And I just think as a mum, that must be... she must feel so happy to see her boys getting on," she continued with the interviewer noting that she appeared "lost in thought" as the words left her mouth.
That same month, she allowed her first tabloid interview in 15 years, though the outlet noted that there was one topic that was "off the table."
The fashion designer and former Spice Girl spoke to UK Outlet The Sun on the heels of her Netflix documentary release, titled Victoria Beckham.
In the interview, Beckham defined herself as a "mother" before anything else.
However, the outlet media said any questions about her eldest son Brooklyn were "off the table" amid their public falling out.
She did, however, say, "I feel proud trying to be the best mum I can be."
The mother of four said her family values communication.
"As a family we try to have dinner together every night – it's phones down and 'What has everyone done today?'," she told the publication.
"Just making sure that it's a safe forum for everybody to be honest and talk and laugh."
It seems the beauty entrepreneur was doing her best to be supportive, despite being snubbed by her eldest. Shortly after her interviews, she held out a public olive branch to her son, liking one of his latest videos on Instagram.
Brooklyn had shared a video of himself using a KitchenAid to make buttermilk pancakes.
Victoria, who boasts 33.1 million followers on Instagram, showed her support by 'liking' the post, and it didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans.
"He looks so sad [cry emoji]," one follower commented underneath the video.
Another added: "Your mum just liked the post, they miss you, just give them a call."
That wasn't the end of Victoria's media blitz, with the mum-of-four finishing off with a scathing comment, which fans took to be directed to her daughter-in-law.
Appearing on Andy Cohen's Sirius XMs radio show in October, the former Spice Girl, spoke about how rare it is for her not to get along with another woman.
The answer came when the designer was asked about her WAG era during husband David Beckham's football career.
"Did you get along with the other WAGs?" Cohen asked Beckham.
"I did. I'm a girl's girl. I mean, you've got to be a real a---hole for me to not get on with you if you're a woman," she replied.
"Because I love women and that's part of the reason why I do what I do with fashion and beauty.
"I want to empower women. And I want to share my tips and tricks with women."
The biggest betrayal yet
Fans were buzzing after dad David finally achieved his long-term goal of Knighthood in November 2025, now officially being deemed Sir David Beckham.
But during the poignant ceremony, his eldest son was nowhere to be seen – not even on social media.
Instead, the budding chef posted an unrelated video days on from his father's ceremony, in promotion of his hot-sauce company 'Cloud23'
The budding content creatorcaptioned the cooking video "The secret sauce? Not so secret anymore," pointedly failing to acknowledge his football-icon father once again.
This latest slight did not go unnoticed by fans, many of whom flooded the comment section of the video with criticism over the eldest Beckham's apparent snub.
"No one cares mate, you going to say well done to your dad?" one chastised.
"You could have gone though... just saying," supplied another.
Cruz's olive branch
In a surprising move, Cruz Beckham seemingly extended an olive branch to his estranged brother Brooklyn in December 2025.
As we know, Cruz and Brooklyn reportedly unfollowed each other in June this year as rumours of a Beckham family feud came to a head.
On December 4, the budding musician posted a telling photo to his story from simpler times, featuring his famous father David, Brooklyn and their brother Romeo.
The photo depicted the four Beckham men posing on their sun-soaked family holiday, back when all were still on speaking terms.
While the Instagram story itself was uncaptioned – simply featuring the photo itself – the initial post, made in 2021, fondly read "love you guys."
A swift backpedal
Just two weeks after sharing his tribute to his older brother, Cruz made his allegiances clear in the midst of this feud with a shocking revelation.
On December 21, Cruz came to the defence of his parents, David and Victoria after a report circulated they had unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram.
Cruz slammed the reports in an Instagram story, sensationally claiming instead that the couple "woke up blocked" – and that he did, too.
Alongside a photo of the news report about his parents, Cruz wrote: "NOT TRUE.
"My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let's get the facts right.
"They woke up blocked… as did I."
It's one of the first times a Beckham family member has addressed the public feud head-on.
