Kriti Sanon's week has been extremely thrilling because she received the coveted Best Actress National Award for her role as a surrogate mother in the movie Mimi. The actor and Alia Bhatt, who received it for Gangubai Kathiawadi, shared the honour. On October 17, President Droupadi Murmu presented the honour to the two actors in the National Capital. At the 69th National Film Awards, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt also smiled for a picture with Ranbir Kapoor.
Kriti has since shared a BTS video on her Instagram page in which her crew is seen getting her ready for the big event. Watch the video below:

Kriti was heard stating in the video, "When I was meditating, I was feeling every emo. Very very excited and very nervous actually. I'm a little anxious."
During the event, Kriti wore a Manish Malhotra saree, and she finished off her outfit with a bindi. Kriti added that she hadn't eaten all day and was feeling rather anxious. The actor wrote, "Zameen badli nahi, toh aasmaan badal gaya..When we are in a moment, its very rare that we know that its gonna be one of the best moments of our lives.. yesterday felt like that! Had my loved ones around.. missed you Nups @nupursanon , Dinoo, @laxman.utekar sir and the team of Mimi! had them in my heart! Feeling so much Gratitude!"
