In a landmark celebration, the Filmfare Awards made their way to the heart of Assam. The Filmfare Awards Assamese 2026 with the Jeevan Ram Mungi Devi Goenka Memorial Public Charitable Trust, was held on February 27 in Guwahati.
Hosted by Kopil Bora and Nishita Goswami, the evening was marked by memorable onstage moments as leading names from the Assamese film industry received the coveted Black Lady. Ravi Sharma and acclaimed filmmaker Rima Das were seen interacting with their peers and industry seniors.
