U.K. Reality Star Katie Price Reveals New Look After Cosmetic Surgeries

U.K. reality star Katie Price is debuting an eyebrow-raising new look after undergoing a series of cosmetic surgeries.

Price, 48, walked the National Television Awards red carpet in London on Tuesday, September 8, revealing her ultra-bronzed face, dark eye makeup and lip liner and slick, pulled-back hair. She shared insight into her unrecognizable look, including the procedures she had undergone to enhance her features, via Instagram just hours prior.

“Because one of my boobs was slightly bigger than the other, they put a new implant in, and while they were there, I asked … ‘Put a bit more in both of them,’” Price, a British reality TV star and former glamour model who appeared in the U.K.’s Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity MasterChef, told her fans.

“At the same time, where my face is hollow, as you get older and lose weight, [I] put filler in, obviously, while I’m asleep, and he does it under the muscle right under the bone,” she continued, pointing to her cheekbones. “I didn’t have anything put in [my cheeks], and I think the swelling has dropped, [but] I look like a hamster. [I’m] sore.”

Price also told fans that she’d hired a new makeup artist, rather than her usual “glam squad,” to provide a bold new look for the event.

“The person doing my makeup, oh my God, I am so honored, so lucky. The person is absolutely iconic and, at the same time, so excited to do my makeup,” she said. “He’s got to cover all this up. So, yeah, watch the magic happen.”

As to why she chose to go with somebody new, Price revealed that creative differences regarding her ensemble led her to look elsewhere.

“Originally I had a glam squad, but they passed on doing the NTAs because I wouldn’t wear the outfits they wanted me to. But the outfit I’ve chosen myself is still different because I don’t like to follow what everyone else follows,” she explained. “In a way, they did me a favor by saying they were going to pass on my glam.”

Moving onto the striking hair style she landed on, Price said, “I’ve taken all my extensions out because the look I want today is the wet look. I want to have my hair all scraped back as a wet look. This is going to be beyond art; it’s iconic.”

Price recently opened up about the cosmetic and plastic surgeries she’s undergone over the years. During an interview for The Price of Perfection, she told British TV presenter Olivia Attwood that the total number of procedures is hard to ascertain.

“Oh my God, that’s really hard. Maybe about 30 or 40 I must have done,” she said on the show, which aired in the U.K. in August.

Procedures she’s spoken publicly about in the past include multiple facelifts, breast enlargements, a lip lift and butt lifts.
