Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler auctions engagement ring after drummer weds Kourtney Kardashian

Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, is auctioning her engagement ring just days after Barker married reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian.

The model and former Miss USA winner is selling the eye-popping ring on Worthy, an online jewellery resale platform. The Cartier ring is platinum and features a central 4.01-carat solitaire-cut diamond surrounded by smaller 1.04-carat stones, says Worthy. The bidding is up to $US72,000 ($100,000) as of today.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Moakler, 47, said while the piece was her "dream ring" at the time, she wishes to let go of that period of her life. She said she hopes the ring sells for a total of $US120,000 ($168,000).

"I think it is a beautiful piece and truly was my dream ring," Moakler told the outlet. "However, that chapter of my life is over and even though wearing it at one time brought me great joy, I hope it will find a new home and continue to bring someone as much happiness as it once did to me. It's truly an iconic ring!"

Like Kardashian, Moakler, has appeared on reality TV shows like Bridalplasty and Celebrity Big Brother. She and Barker married in 2004 and showed their home lives to the world in the reality program called Meet the Barkers, but divorced in 2008. They share two children: son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16.

Barker and Kardashian have celebrated their nuptials multiple times in the past weeks after first announcing their engagement in October. They had a non-binding ceremony in Las Vegas in April, were legally married in California, and then jetted off to Portofino, Italy, for a destination wedding on May 22.

Following the nuptials, Moakler congratulated the couple and thanked her ex for including their children in the ceremony. The drummer also invited his former stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23 – Moakler's daughter who she shared with ex, boxer Oscar De La Hoya. 

"I wish the happy couple a lovely marriage. I will continue to only want the best for my children," Moakler told Us Weekly in a statement. "It was a beautiful gesture to include my children in such a gorgeous affair."
