Taika Waititi shows off his bright salmon colored suit while arriving for the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 46-year-old actor/director hit the blue carpet alongside the cast of Reservation Dogs – Paulina Alexis, Devery Jacobs, Sarah Podemski, and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.
The cast of the FX series picked up the Best Ensemble Cast in a New Scripted Series, and are also won for Best New Scripted Series at the ceremony.
“I am so proud to be a part of something that amplifies indigenous voices and especially proud to be making it with my brother @sterlinharjo,” Taika, who directed the series, stated on his Instagram as the series was announced in 2020.
FYI: D’Pharaoh wore an Amiri suit, David Yurman jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Taika wore a Dzojchen suit.
