Director SS Rajamouli frequently delivers inspiring speeches at university graduations and student events, emphasising that success comes from unwavering dedication and passion. At the graduation ceremony hosted by a University in Hyderabad, the filmmaker delivered a keynote and inspired students about life and career challenges.
Rajamouli’s motivational speech
Attending the ceremony as the chief guest, the Baahubali maker delivered motivational words. He pointed out that life’s challenges and opportunities are two sides of one coin. He appealed to the students to use these opportunities for self-discovery, skill-building and profound personal growth."As you go about your life, you will not only face obstacles and challenges but also opportunities. Whatever opportunities you might land might come from unexpected places. No matter what you do, do it with complete dedication," the RRR maker said. “Whatever work you do, embrace it with complete passion and dedication. Be tirelessly hardworking. That will take you places," the celebrated filmmaker further added.
On creativity and visual storytelling
In the past, Rajamouli has delivered keynote speeches at major international platforms, including the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and various film summits in different countries. On those occasions, he shared insights into Indian mythology, action design, and global cinema distribution.In 2015, he addressed students at IIT Madras as part of their Extra Mural Lectures series, discussing the creative process, visual storytelling, and navigating challenges in large-scale film projects. At the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy, he has conducted interactive sessions and guest lectures for film students, addressing queries ranging from technical directing choices to narrative execution.
Rajamouli is currently helming Mahesh Babu-Priyanka Chopra's Varanasi. The film remains one of the most eagerly awaited Indian releases of 2027. Promotional activities, including the music launch, are expected to begin several months ahead of its theatrical release. The other day, reconfirming the release date, the team wrote a short and assuring message: "250 days to April 7th".
