Seth Rogen Calls Out Emmys 2021 for Saying Show Would Be Fully Outdoors When It Isn't

Seth Rogen is calling out the Emmys.

The 39-year-old actor took the stage to present at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, when he pointed something out about the location of the show.

“Let me start by saying there is way too many of us in this little room. What are we doing? They said this was outdoors,” Seth said, referring to the Emmy organizers claiming the show would take place outside. He continued, “It’s not! They lied to us! We’re in a hermetically sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this.”

The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and large crowds of people can have higher rates of spread.

It was announced in August of 2021 that the show would be outdoors for safety reasons and that the amount of guests was being limited.
