Serena Williams and Venus Williams kicked off the show at the Oscars this year!
The tennis superstars and executive producers of King Richard appeared on stage in the first moments of the show at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Serena and Venus were there to present the performance from Best Original Song nominee Beyonce, who is nominated for her song “Be Alive” from King Richard.
The performance was pre-recorded at the tennis courts in Compton, where Serena and Venus learned to play tennis while growing up.
On the red carpet, Serena was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian.
