It seems Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were made for each other and an interview from 13 years ago has revealed why.
The global pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end both appear to love the spotlight as much as they love each other and they aren't afraid to share their relationship with the world.
This shared love for the limelight seems to be the secret to their relationship and a recently resurfaced interview shows that it's something Swift has been manifesting for a while.

A 60 Minutes interview from 2011 was recently reshared on the program's A Second Look podcast in which a then 21-year-old Swift opened up about wanting a future partner who could handle the same level of fame as her.
Interviewer Lesley Stahl asked Swift about whether she desired privacy "at least in the beginning" of her relationships despite her growing fame to which Swift hesitated to answer.
"A relationship is the combination of two people and their comfort levels. It's so heartbreaking when you have so many things line up and so many things click but your comfort level with fame is so different than [the person you're dating]," she responded.

"'Cause I don't care. Like I'll walk into a coffee shop with someone I'm in love with because I don't care because I'm in love with them... It doesn't matter to me who's looking, but it does to some people."
"It seems a little unnecessary to care that much about keeping people out," she continued.

Swift's high profile relationships since then navigated varying levels of privacy. Her 6-year relationship with her ex-partner Joe Alwyn in particular was kept very private – a stark contrast to her very public relationship with Kelce.
After a friendship bracelet meet cute, Swift and Kelce have been very open with their relationship.
They've been spotted together at the US Open and the 2024 super bowl, Kelce joined Swift on stage at her record-breaking The Eras Tour and Swift just recently shouted out her "boyfriend, Travis" for the first time at the 2024 VMAs.
"Everything this man touches turns to happiness, fun and magic, so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot," she said of him while accepting the VMA for Video Of The Year.
Thirteen years after that interview with 60 Minutes, Swift has found herself a partner in Kelce who is seemingly just as comfortable in the spotlight as her.
