Scarface star Angel Salazar, who played Chi Chi in the iconic gangster film, has died aged 68.
The news of the Cuban-American actor's death was confirmed to TMZ by a representative for Salazar, Ann Wingsong.
According to the rep, Salazar passed away in his sleep at his friend's Brooklyn home over the weekend. No cause of death has been given.
Wingsong says the friend went to check on Salazar and found his body. The rep also said Salazar suffered from heart issues.

The actor was born in 1956 and landed his breakout role as the sidekick to Al Pacino's Tony Montana in 1983's Scarface.
Off of the back of the film's success, Salazar appeared in various other movies, including Where the Buffalo Roam (1980), A Stranger is Watching (1982), The Wild Life (1984), Punchline (1988) and Carlito's Way (1993).
A comedian, Salazar made regular appearances on the NBC series Last Comic Standing; he also did stand-up, coining the famous catchphrase: "Sheck it out!"

Salazar's last known performance was at Reno's Silver Legacy Resort and Casino from August 1 to August 4.
Fellow actor and friend Bobby Ciasulli took to Facebook to share the news of Salazar's death with his family and friends.
"It is with SAD News that I inform you that our friend Angel Salazar aka Chi Chi from the movie Scarface has passed away," the post began.
"This was one of the sweetest humans that I have ever been fortunate enough to have met and worked with and most importantly been his friend!
"I don't think this man had a bad bone in his body . 
"I'm sure you have brought much humour to the heavens, you will be missed by many! Rest in peace my friend 🙏," the post concluded.
