The memorial service for the late Duke of Edinburgh (aka Prince Philip, the Queen‘s late husband) was underway earlier today (March 29) at Westminster Abbey in London, England.
The royal family all gathered for the ceremony. Guests included Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) and two of their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, plus the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, and Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, among others.
Prince Philip passed away at the age of 99 in April of 2021 (and his cause of death was revealed a short time later.)
Because his funeral was held during the pandemic, there were only a few people invited. Many important people were left off the guest list.
