O-T Fagbenle is rocking a modern update to a traditional outfit on the red carpet.
The 40-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the 2021 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

“This is an agbada, which is a Nigerian style of dress. This is like a modern agbada, the traditional ones are a lot bigger, and have more ruffles, a different hat,” he explained to the LA Times on the carpet.
O-T is nominated for his work in The Handmaid’s Tale in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
The Emmys ceremony this year is being hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and the show will be broadcast on CBS and the Paramount+ streaming service. The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out last weekend and the full winners list has already been announced for those awards!
