Oscars 2023: Deepika Padukone introduces RRRs Naatu Naatu performance and the crowd goes wild
It's a proud moment for India as the performance for its Best Original Song nominee Naatu Naatu from RRR, which was performed live by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the 95th Academy Awards, received a standing ovation from the audience at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The performance was announced by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who was seen dressed in a gorgeous black dress.

Introducing the performance, she said, "An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves to match have made this song a global sensation. It plays during a pivotal scene in RRR, a movie about the friendship between real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. In addition to being sung in Telugu and illustrating the film's anti-colonialist themes, it's also a total banger."
