The VMAs performance from Maneskin was seemingly censored after cameras panned away from the stage for an extended period of time.
The Italian glam rock band, led by Damiano David, performed their song “Supermodel” at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 28) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Damiano went shirtless during the performance and wore black chaps over a jock strap, which put his bare butt on display.
“I can’t believe that Maneskin has the most exciting set of the whole #vmas & MTV censored the whole damn set!!!! Justice for Maneskin!!!” one fan tweeted.
Another fan said, “I waited all night to watch Maneskin on #VMAs to have @MTV show two seconds of the actual performance. Why was it censored?”
