Patty Maloney, best known for her role on Little House on the Prairie, has died at the age of 89.
Maloney's brother, Dave Myrabo, confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter.
He said Maloney experienced "several" strokes over the years and died while in hospice care in Winter Park, Florida.

"For a little person growing up in a big world, she did everything she wanted to do," Myrabo said.
Patricia Ann Maloney was born in Perkinsville, New York, on March 17, 1936.
The 3'11" star played the alien Honk on the show Far Out Space Nuts and the son of Chewbacca, Lumpy, on the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Maloney also appeared on the Brady Bunch Variety Hour, Charlie's Angels, Married... with Children, My Name Is Earl and The Love Boat.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, before she became an actress, Maloney worked with carnival and with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus until she married Joseph Vitek in 1961.
When Vitek died in 1968, Maloney returned to Hollywood and worked as a puppeteer in Fol-de-Pol.
Hal Erickson wrote of Maloney in his 2007 book Sid and Marty Krofft: A Critical Study of Saturday Morning Children's Television 1969-1993.

"Her extensive dancing and mime skills enabled her to convey a full range of emotions for Honk without ever speaking a word of dialogue — and with her facial features utterly obscured," he noted.
Maloney's health issues first began in 2010 when she was diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), per Men's Journal.
The actress is survived by her brother Maloney, nieces Jennifer and Laura and her brother-in-law, Vic.
