Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s “Dos Orguitas” is one of the nominees for Best Original Song at the 2022 Academy Awards and you can listen to and read the lyrics for the song right here!
The song is one of the few all-Spanish songs in Encanto, and tells the story of two caterpillars growing to become butterflies and find their own future, representing the story of Mirabel’s grandparents.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, who considers himself a fan of Sebastián Yatra, pitched him with the opportunity to perform the track for the movie, and he immediately said yes. Sebastian will also be performing during the evening’s ceremony!
