Lea Michele brought the house down with her performance at the end of the night at the 2023 Tony Awards!
The 36-year-old actress closed out the show by performing “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from Funny Girl at the Tonys on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights.
Funny Girl was not eligible for any awards this year as it opened in the previous Tonys season. Lea was never eligible for a Tony Award for her performance as Fanny Brice as she did not originate the role in this production. Beanie Feldstein was eligible last year, but did not receive a nomination.

This was Lea’s second time performing “Don’t Rain on My Parade” at the Tonys. She previously sang it at the 2010 Tonys, shortly after the success of Glee‘s first season.
