Keith Urban reportedly cut off by daughters after Nicole Kidman divorce

Keith Urban has reportedly been cut off by the two daughters he shares with Nicole Kidman in the wake of their split.

Kidman filed for divorce from her husband of almost 20 years in September 2025, just a day after news broke they had split, and their divorce was finalised in January.

Now, there are reports the father-daughter relationship between the singing star and his daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, is so strained he no longer hears from them.

It comes just two days after Urban cut a lonely figure when he was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville on April 28. Neither of his daughters attended the event.

Now, the Daily Mail has reported his two girls had sided with their mother after the split.

"He is the cause of every problem in their minds and it's harrowing for him," the source said.

"He loves those girls, but they are so angry at him and they're blaming him."

The same source said Urban had tried to maintain contact with the girls.

"He was texting [his daughters] before and getting one or two-word answers, if he got anything at all. Now nothing," the source said.

Urban is reportedly just letting things happen, with hopes that at one point they'll be able to have the conversations to be able to move forward. 

He also reportedly doesn't blame his former wife for the rift.

"I don't even think this is Nicole painting a narrative; this is the girls coming to this conclusion on their own," the source added.

Urban and Kidman have tried to keep things amicable during the split, but the girls are "hurt" and have sided with their mum. 

Also this week, eagle-eyed watchers noticed the couple's eldest daughter, Sunday, 17, had seemingly unfollowed her father on Instagram, although it appeared she followed him again by the next day after the move made headlines.

For her part, Kidman told Variety in March in what was her first post-split interview that she would not be discussing her separation.

"Everything else, I don't discuss out of respect. I'm staying in a place of, 'We are a family', and that's what we'll continue to be," she said.

But despite her stance, it seems her girls have made up their minds on their own.

During an interview with Australian Elle in March, Sunday said it was her mother who was the "biggest inspiration" in her life and a "a key part of everything I do", but made no mention of her dad.

The girls have not been seen in public with their dad since the family attended the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, but supported their mother at Paris Fashion Week on October 6, 2025, just a week after news of their parents split.

When news first broke that Urban and Kidman had separated last September, People quoted sources that said it was Urban who had wanted out of the marriage.

"[Nicole] didn't want this," the source said. "She has been fighting to save the marriage."

She went on to win primary custody of their two daughters, who continue to live with her in Nashville, Tennessee, 306 days per year, while Urban was granted visitation rights of 59 days per year.
