Kane Brown has a special someone by his side at the VMAs!
The 28-year-old singer was joined by wife Katelyn Jae at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (August 28) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Kane is going to be performing his song “Grand” during the show tonight. He’s nominated for Song of Summer for the same song!
This is Kane‘s first time being nominated for an award at the VMAs and he’s also the first male country artist to ever perform at the show.
“I feel good, you know, I’m kinda upset that I’m not singing a country song,” he told ET. “But also, it’s kinda good because people will be like ‘Oh, this is a country artist. Why is he singing this song?’ Then hopefully they go down a rabbit hole and they discover a lot more artists in the country world.”
