Jennifer Lawrence turned heads when she arrived at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
The 35-year-old actress left little to the imagination on the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles ahead of the Sunday, January 11, awards ceremony wearing Givenchy by Sarah Burton naked dress paired with Swarovski jewels. Lawrence posed for photos without husband Cooke Maroney before walking inside for the ceremony. Maroney, 41, eventually joined his wife inside, where they were photographed together during the ceremony.
Lawrence attended the 2026 Golden Globes as a nominee for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for Die My Love. Her fellow contenders in the category are Eva Victor for Sorry, Baby, Jessie Buckley for Hamnet, Julia Roberts for After the Hunt, Renate Reinsve for Sentimental Value and Tessa Thompson for Hedda.
Lawrence is already a three-time Golden Globe winner, previously earning Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Silver Linings Playbook in 2013, Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for American Hustle in 2014 and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Joy in 2016. She also racked up past nods for her performances in Winter’s Bone in 2011, Don’t Look Up in 2022 and No Hard Feelings in 2024.

Lawrence has been married to husband Maroney since October 2019. The couple share two sons: Cy, 3, and a second baby boy born in 2025, whose name has not been shared publicly.
Lawrence was five months pregnant with her and Maroney’s second child when she filmed the postpartum thriller Die My Love.
“A part of what she’s going through is the hormonal imbalance that comes with postpartum, but she’s also having an identity crisis. ‘Who am I as a mother? Who am I as a wife? Who am I as a sexual person to my husband? Who am I as a creative?’ And, I think, she’s plagued with this feeling that she’s disappearing,” she explained to reporters at a Cannes Film Festival press conference in May 2025. “For me, I was four-and-a-half, five months pregnant when we shot, I had great hormones, I was feeling great, which really was the only way I would be able to dip into some of this visceral emotion.”

As for her own experience as a mother, Lawrence noted that “having children changes everything. It changes your whole life. It’s brutal and incredible.”
“Not only do [my kids] go into every decision of if I’m working, where I’m working, when I’m working, they’ve taught me — I mean, I didn’t know that I could feel so much,” she said. “And my job has a lot to do with emotion. It’s almost like feeling a blister or something — like, so sensitive. So they’ve changed my life, obviously, for the best and they’ve changed me creatively. I highly recommend having kids if you want to be an actor.”
In November 2025, Lawrence opened up about balancing her career and her family.

“Having kids is sacrificial. It’s gratifying and it’s amazing and rewarding, but it’s not not sacrificial,” she shared on The New York Times’ “The Interview” podcast. “I’d never had to say no to something before that I really wanted to do.”

Although it felt “vain and selfish” to continue working after having her sons, Lawrence emphasized the significance of her acting career in her life.
“My kids and my family are more important, obviously, but they feel like an equal part of me,” she noted. “I would not be complete if I couldn’t make movies. I just wouldn’t.”
