Jennifer Coolidge wins Best Supporting Actress Emmy for The White Lotus, delivers hilarious acceptance speech

Jennifer Coolidge has perhaps made the best acceptance speech of the night at this year's Emmys Primetime Awards.

Coolidge won the Emmy for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role as Tanya McQuoid in The White Lotus.

She, of course, took to the stage in her classic, breezy fashion.

"Hey, hi, wow," Coolidge said airily.

After saying some thank yous, Coolidge let slip a small detail about her preparation for the night.

"I had a lavender bath tonight, before the show, and it's made me swell inside my dress... I'm having a hard time speaking," she joked.

She then moved on to start thanking all of the crew, producers, directors, cast members and writers from The White Lotus.

Unfortunately, as acceptance speeches usually go, Coolidge took a little too long on the stage, and so staff started to play some slow outro music.

The actress immediately panicked but kept going, interrupting with a "hold on!" every few seconds.

When the music changed all of a sudden to a slightly groovier sound, Coolidge decided to give up and dance instead, to major cheers from the crowd.
