Janhvi Kapoor wishes Manish Malhotra luck for his directorial debut

Manish Malhotra started out as a costume stylist and moved on to becoming the most eminent fashion designer in the industry. He’s been a part of the movies for over thirty years now and he’s all set to venture into a new phase of his life. The ace designer just announced that he’s going to don the director’s hat for the very first time with a musical love story. 

Following the news, Janhvi Kapoor, who has played muse to Manish on several occasions took to social media to congratulate him and posted a picture of her mother, the late Sridevi planting a sweet kiss on Manish’s cheek. She captioned the picture, “Congratulations Manish Malhotra on this new journey. Can’t wait for the world to see all the knowledge and love you have for films and see the magic that you create with it. It’s going to be so special”.

A source revealed some details about the project earlier and said, “The story and screenplay of this intense musical love story, set in the backdrop of the partition, is also written by Malhotra. He has already envisioned the entire screenplay ready in his mind and casting for the film will begin shortly.”
