Jack Nicholson has made a rare appearance on his daughter's Instagram, delighting fans amid swirling health concerns.
The Hollywood icon, 88, appeared in Lorraine Nicholson's Instagram carousel.
One photos shows the actor, his daughter, 35, and his son, Ray Nicholson, 33, smiling during Thanksgiving celebrations.
Fans were quick to comment on the photo, happy to see the actor, who has mostly retreated from public life since 2010.
"Your dad looks great!" one person wrote.
"Your dad, nice to see him," another fan wrote.
"Happy to see the legend alive," another comment reads.

It's not the first time the Hollywood legend has appeared on his daughter's social media.
In January, she posted a picture embracing him during Christmas time.
She also posted a photo of the pair at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special, during which Nicholson returned to the screen for the first time in years.

Nicholson stepped away from the spotlight after becoming a legend in Hollywood.
He is the most nominated male actor in Oscars history and was the star of iconic films in every decade from the 1960s to the 2010s.
But in 2010, he retired from acting and fell out of the limelight, partially due to a reported dementia diagnosis.

That year, friends of the actor voiced concerns about his health, telling RadarOnline he "doesn't leave his house anymore".
The family themselves have not confirmed or denied the rumours about his health.
He has four other children, Jennifer Nicholson, Caleb Goddard, Honey Hollman and Tessa Gourin.
Nicholson made a reputation for himself as a partying playboy, not only in his youth but also in his later years.
He has six kids with five different women, despite only being married once.
Nicholson had Ray and Lorraine with his ex Rebecca Boussard.
