'I'm in a bit of a pickle': Zoë Kravitz reveals she and her mum Lisa Bonet 'destroyed' an A-list friend's bathroom

Zoë Kravitz revealed an A-list friend took her and her mum in during the deadly wildfires in LA earlier this year, but it didn't go well. 

Turns out they were staying in Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills home and managed to absolutely destroy one room in the place. 

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Kravitz, 36, said the 14-time Grammy winner opened up her lavish mansion to her and her famous mum, Lisa Bonet.

Kravitz explained they ended up staying for about two weeks, and added that it wasn't just her and Bonet, her mum's pet snake Orpheus was with them too. 

"And Taylor has this beautiful house. It's from the '30s, something you want to preserve and take care of," she said. 

The actress noted that she tries to be a good guest, wanting to leave where she stays better than where she found it. 

But instead, they ended up "destroying" one of her bathrooms.

Kravitz said that they had been cleaning the house before leaving, but she got a strange call from her mum who said, "I'm in a bit of a pickle."

Eventually she found her mum "crouched in the corner in this weird way" in a bathroom upstairs in the house. 

"And I'm like, 'What's going on, dude?' And she's like, 'So I was washing my face and I had Orpheus and I just put her down for a second. Closed the door and she found this little hole in the corner,'" she recalled.

She said the room had a banquette built into the wall next to a small hole in the wall - and that's where the snake was trapped.

The mother-daughter duo set out on a rescue mission, with Bonet attempting to grab the snake's tail. 

But the pressure of the situation made them both panic and the snake slithered further into the wall. 

With no other options, Kravitz called Swift's house manager, who arrived with a crowbar to get into the banquette for the snake. 

"We're ripping up the tile. We're scratching the walls," she recalled. 

"Completely destroyed Taylor's bathroom and there was just this moment where I was like, 'Either we destroy her bathroom or I have to tell her that there's a snake somewhere in her house.'

"I said to her house manager, 'Obviously, I'm gonna pay for everything to be fixed. Please just don't say anything until it's fixed.'"

Kravitz then had to call Swift to explain what happened. 

"I remember calling her saying, 'Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something.' And she was like, 'Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?'"

Meyers joked that the snake will probably get a few songs on Swift's next album after that.
