'I can't say that!' Sydney Sweeney's awkward reaction in late night TV appearance after her name has been thrown into the headlines

Sydney Sweeney had a bit of an awkward moment when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week.

The Euphoria star, 28, took part in a game on the show called What's Behind Me?

At one point, the American actress, who has become one of the most talked about stars of 2025, was guessing what was going on behind her and quipped: "Oh, I can't say that!"

Behind her were some Labubus doing the 6-7 dance outside a McDonald's.

She had to guess the TikTok 6-7 trend, which became popular following the release of a song.

Fallon thought she was thinking of the number "69," saying, "subtract two".

"I can't say it, that's the trend," she said, before whispering, "6-7".

"I saw that people were getting in trouble for doing it!" she added.

Underneath a YouTube clip of the show, one user wrote: "Sydney is like I'm not getting cancelled again [crying with laughter emoji]."

The actress' ad for American Eagle jeans earlier this year caused such a reaction, even US President Donald Trump weighed in on the discourse.

The ad caused a stir and made international headlines due to the catchphrase "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans", with many believing the language promoted eugenics.

Responding to the backlash, American Eagle said in a statement: "Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' is and always was about the jeans."

She opened up and told GQ recently: "I mean, the reaction definitely was a surprise, but I love jeans. All I wear are jeans."
