Gilmore Girls actress Kelly Bishop had the support of a special co-star on one of the biggest nights of her career.
Bishop was included in the 50th anniversary show of the Broadway musical A Chorus Line at the Shubert Theatre on July 27, the same place the show first opened in 1975.
She played the role of Sheila Bryant in the original show.

In her later career, the actress was best known for her role as Emily Gilmore, playing the on-screen mother of Lauren Graham's character Lorelai Gilmore.
Graham was part of the 50th anniversary celebration in support of her on-screen mother, posting to Instagram to commemorate the moment.
"It was beyond thrilling to get to introduce Ms. Kelly Bishop at the 50th Anniversary of A Chorus Line at the @shubertorg theatre Sunday night," the post read.
"The performances were incredible, magical, inspiring! Also, this photo of us is wack because in real life Kelly is about 1/16 my size. XL."
A Chorus Line debuted in the Public Theatre in 1975 before it moved to Broadway, where it immediately became an instant sensation.
The production ran a record-breaking 6137 performances over 15 years, making it the longest-running Broadway show ever at the time.
It won nine Tonys and a Pulitzer Prize. It also sparked a film adaptation and a 2006 Broadway revival.
Gilmore Girls ran for seven seasons and was quickly beloved by the masses after the first season aired in 2000.

The show ran until 2007 before Netflix rebooted it in 2016 for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
