Alia Bhatt was honoured with the Best Actor, Web Original Film (Female) award for her OTT debut Darlings at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2023. While accepting the award for the film she co-produced with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies, she expressed her gratitude to her Dear Zindagi co-star for his belief in her.
Acknowledging Shah Rukh Khan during her acceptance speech, Alia remarked, "I would first start off by thanking Shah Rukh Khan for giving me the first opportunity to produce a film. I remember Shah Rukh calling me and saying, 'main usually doosron ke saath film produce nahi karta but tere saath karunga because I love you.' So thank you for that, if it wasn't for you, this wouldn't have been possible."

She further thanked Darlings director Jasmeet K. Reen and her co-stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew.
Accompanied by her sister Shaheen at the event, Alia shared a glimpse of her experience in a heartwarming post, captioning it simply as "Filmfare night." The shared pictures captured her holding the award, posing alongside her sister Shaheen, Darlings director Jasmeet K. Reen, and co-star Vijay Varma. Alia radiated elegance in a black gown, effortlessly exuding her chic style.
