Emma Stone has given her husband a rare shoutout during her return to the Saturday Night Live stage.
Hosting the comedy show for her fifth time on December 2, 2023, the La La Land star referenced its role in her love story with Dave McCary, a former SNL segment director.
"I even met my husband here at SNL," she told the audience during her opening monologue.

"I know he's pretty camera-shy, he's not a performer, but it's such a special night for us.
"I'd love for the cameras to cut to him, if that's OK."
The sweet moment quickly took a comedic turn when the camera cut to Lorne Michaels, SNL's longtime showrunner. Stone jokingly blew Michaels, 79, a kiss, before resuming her address.
