Dwayne Johnson stumps Kelly Clarkson with dirty sex joke about his wife

Dwayne Johnson's dirty joke about his sex life was so surprising, it caused talk-show host Kelly Clarkson to stumble out of her chair.

The actor dropped by The Kelly Clarkson Show this week to promote his new superhero flick, Black Adam, during which he and his co-stars were asked rapid-fire questions from fans on Twitter.

Johnson's question? "Which of his movies would be Black Adam's favourite?"

The 50-year-old former wrestler struggled to come up with a serious answer, so he dropped a sex joke instead. 

"Uh, I made a movie one time with my wife," he began. As his castmates and the crowd caught on and erupted with laughter, an embarrassed Johnson said: "Sorry, no. Nevermind. I'm only kidding."

One person who didn't immediately get the joke was the host herself. But once Clarkson clocked on, she leapt off her seat in a fit of laughter. In case you didn't get it either, Johnson was joking about making a sex tape with his wife, Lauren Hashian.

"The amount of time it took for me to get that," Clarkson laughed. "If they play it back – my face – I go, 'Oh, that's sweet,' and then I go, 'OH!' That would probably be a good – don't brag!"

Johnson and Hashian – a singer-songwriter – were married in 2019 in a stunning sunset ceremony in Hawaii, 13 years after they meet on the set of his movie The Game Plan in 2006.

They welcomed their daughters Jasmine in 2015 and Tiana in 2018. Johnson also has a daughter Simone, 21, from his first marriage. 

And it seems the Johnson household is so playful, his wife wouldn't take offence at his sex joke.

"First of all, she teases me about everything. Everything," he told People in 2016. "Nothing is off limits in our house. And it's the beauty of it. And I tease her with everything."
