Tom Holland and Zendaya have long been one of Hollywood's most beloved couples. After getting engaged in late 2024, the Spider-Man co-stars sparked months of speculation over when they would get married. Zendaya was also clicked wearing a striking diamond ring, further fuelling wedding rumours.
The couple then reportedly hosted a private wedding celebration at the Beaverbrook Hotel in Surrey, England, on August 4.
The couple's wedding status became even more intriguing earlier this year when Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach appeared to confirm that they had already married. Speaking on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards in March, Roach told Access Hollywood, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it!"
Tom Holland later appeared to confirm the marriage himself. In an interview in June, the actor referred to Zendaya as his wife and, when asked about family members being fooled by AI-generated wedding photographs, said they did not need an explanation because “they were all there”, confirming that the wedding had taken place while keeping the details private.

Now, however, Law Roach has added another twist to the story. Speaking on the red carpet at the 2026 Emmy Awards, Roach was asked about his March comments suggesting that Zendaya and Holland had already married. He admitted that his earlier statement had been misleading and said, “Well, I actually lied, she wasn’t married. They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour.”
When asked if he was simply “messing” with reporters, Roach insisted that the wedding had not happened.
“No, the wedding hasn’t happened. Not yet.” Roach's latest comments appear to conflict with what Holland himself said earlier this year, as well as reports of the couple's private wedding celebration in Surrey. It remains unclear whether Roach is referring to a larger formal ceremony or celebration rather than the private wedding Holland previously confirmed.
The comments have once again sent fans into a frenzy.
Meanwhile, at the 2026 Emmys, Zendaya arrived in a custom Prada gown covered in crystals and pearls, styled by Roach, and debuted a short pixie haircut. She was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Rue Bennett in the final season of Euphoria. Tom Holland accompanied her to the ceremony and posed gleefully for the cameras.
