Troy Kotsur is on a winning streak!
The 53-year-old actor picked up the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.
Troy won for his role in CODA, and was supported by his co-stars Marlee Matlin and Daniel Durant.
Just the previous weekend, Troy picked up the same honor at the 2022 SAG Awards, and he’s also nominated at the 2022 Oscars, too.
CODA even picked up the Best Picture honor at the SAGs.
If you haven’t seen it, CODA centers on Ruby (Emilia Jones), the only hearing member of her family, who serves as an interpreter for the members of her family. After joining her high school’s choir club, Ruby finds herself drawn to both her duet partner and her latent passion for singing.
CODA is streaming on Apple TV+ now.
FYI: Marlee wore a pink Armani Prive suit.
